German container shipping company Hapag-Lloyd will navigate through the COVID-19 crisis without seeking state aid.

Many other large companies in Germany have required a support from the government, Hapag-Lloyd sees no need for any financial support. The problems are minor.

“We will not look for government support as we are pretty confident that we will manage to get through this crisis on our own,” -spokesperson of Hapag-Lloyd.

All investments have been delayed such as ordering of new boxships.

Hapag-Lloyd currently has a fleet of 248 ships.
